Remembering my good friend Ron Hoover. This photo was taken during my last visit with Ron in August 2008. My daughter now away at college reminded me this Thanksgiving weekend that whenever she spoke with Ron he gave her a history lession. My daughter loves history. Although Ron did not live the accepted way of life for a non-creative and status conscience types I never hesitated to have my kids visit Ron either in person or by phone.
